This is to inform you that the Forum will be holding a breakfast seminar at the "Plaza Hotel" on April 9 featuring Mr. Yong Hak HUH, CEO of First Bridge Strategy Ltd. and former CIO of Private Markets and Direct Investment at the HKMA (Hong Kong Monetary Authority), as our speaker. Mr. Huh will speak on the topic of "Perspectives on the Global Private Equity Industry and Implications for Korean Investors." Details of the seminar are as follows:

Founder and CEO of First Bridge Strategy Ltd., Mr. Yong Hak Huh is at once a seasoned investor, trusted advisor, and M&A practitioner all in one. First Bridge Strategy Ltd. works with large financial institutions including life insurance companies, pension funds, and sovereign wealth funds, helping build robust long-term investment portfolios across a mix of alternative investments. Prior to establishing First Bridge in 2015, Mr. Huh was the first Chief Investment Officer for Private Markets and Direct Investment at the HKMA from 2008 to 2014. At HKMA, he personally managed a pioneering alternative asset portfolio comprised of a diverse mix of global alternative assets - private equity funds, co-investments, secondaries, distressed credit, technology venture funds and real estate. He also served as Advisor to investor committees of various well-known institutions such as KKR, Blackstone, Apollo, Silver Lake, EQT, BC Partners, General Atlantic, CVC, Andreessen Horowitz and Warburg Pincus, among others. Prior to joining HKMA, Mr. Huh was Head of the Financial Institutions Group for Asia and Head of Korea at the Investment Banking Division of HSBC from 2004 to 2008. From 2003 to 2004, Mr. Huh was a partner at Olympus Capital, a private equity firm exclusively focused on Asian investments. For over 18 years from 1985 to 2003, Mr. Huh worked at J.P. Morgan in various senior positions in New York, Seoul and Hong Kong. His most recent position at J.P. Morgan was Head of M&A and concurrent Head of Telecom Media & Technology for Asia based in Hong Kong. Mr. Huh received a BA in Political Science and Diplomacy from Korea University in 1982, and a Master of International Affairs degree from the School of International Affairs at Columbia University in 1984. Mr. Huh also completed an executive program at Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business in 2014.
